About Your Trip

My goal during your trip is to provide you with an educational and entertaining experience that you will be able to apply to your own waters and fishing situations, whether you are a novice or experienced angler.

Throughout the day, you will be educated on:

• Understanding new water
• Various fish holding structures
• Daily and seasonal fish patterns
• Boat control and positioning
• Using electronics
• Baits and presentations

What I Provide:

The Boat:  For Lake of the Woods, we will be fishing from a 2006 1800 Lund Explorer equiped with a Mercury 90 HP 4-stroke, Lowrance and Vexilar electronics, and a Minn Kota Terrova trolling motor.
For the Winnipeg River and Red River, we will be fishing from a 2001 1700 Lund Outfitter equiped with a Honda 40 4-stroke, Lowrance and Vexilar electronics, and a Minn Kota PowerDrive trolling motor.

Rods and Reels:  For catfish and sturgeon, I will supply all necessary rods and reels.  For muskies, I have all the equipment available but I encourage you to bring your own equipment you are familiar with it.  Please contact me if you have any concerns about what to bring!

• All tackle provided - once again bring confidence baits if you wish
• Release tools
• Life Jackets
• Camera - We are 100% catch and release with all muskies, sturgeon, and catfish

What to Bring:

• Valid Manitoba or Ontario fishing license
• Clothing appropriate for the weather
• Rain gear
• Sunscreen
• Food and beverages
• Polarized sunglasses
• Your own fishing gear (if desired)
• Camera
• Positive attitude!

Rates:

A full day trip is considered a minimum of 8 hours, but often we will fish longer than that.  Half day trips are about 4-5 hours.  If multiple boats are required, that can also be arranged.  Please inquire about multiple day discounts.

• Muskies (Lake of the Woods): Full Day - $400 (includes up to 2 people)
• Sturgeon (Winnipeg River): Full Day - $400 (includes up to 2 people)
• Catfish (Red River): Full Day - $400 (includes up to 3 people)
• Catfish (Red River): Half Day - $300 (includes up to 3 people)

Multi-Day Specials

• Book 2 consecutive days for muskies, sturgeon, or catfish - $700 ($350/day)
• Book 3 consecutive days for muskies or sturgeon, or catfish - $1000 (~$333/day)

Lodging is available in all areas, please contact me for details.

A $100 deposit is required to confirm your date.  This is refundable with 30 days notice, and may also be used for an alternate date.  All prices quoted in US funds.
